The Fish Stocking Report Tool on our website lets you create your own customized reports.
The Lake Report shows every stocking event/release for your selected lake or river (or multiple waterbodies).
The Regional Report consolidates the data, providing a summary of the total number of fish stocked into each lake or stream in a region per year.

How to run a Lake Report
- Select Lake Report.
- Select Report Release Date. The default is the most recent 10 years of stocking releases. However, you can change the time period to whatever years you wish to see, from more recent to historical.
- Select Your Location. You can choose to narrow your search to one or multiple Regions, Towns, or Waterbodies (lakes or rivers). If you select a Region, the Waterbody filter will only show lakes or rivers located in that region. If you do not make a location selection, the report will show stocking releases for all regions of B.C. that occurred during the report release dates.
- Select Your Fish Species. Use the Species filter if you are interested in stocking events related to a particular fish species. Rainbow trout are the only species stocked into every region of the province.
- Click Generate Report. Results will appear in chronological order of release date. However, you also have the option of re-ordering the results by the different column headings on the results table. For example, if you click on the arrow on the Strain column heading, the results will be re-ordered alphabetically based on stocked strain. On the report page you will also have the ability to export the results as a CSV, Excel or PDF file.

Each line of the report shows the total number of species and strains stocked into a waterbody for the selected year. On the report page you have the option of re-ordering the results by the different column headings, just as you can on the Lake Report. You also have the ability to export the results as a CSV, Excel or PDF file.
The Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC thanks the 350,000+ anglers who purchased a freshwater fishing licence each year. Your fees help fund the stocking program.
