Join the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC and the City of Surrey to take part in the annual Environmental Extravaganza! In this two-hour session you’ll learn the basics of freshwater fishing including: hatchery roles, fish identification, tackle, rod rigging, casting, and hands-on fishing.

- For children ages 5 to 15. Parent participation required.

- Meet at the south end of Green Timbers Lake along the pathway that surrounds the lake. Look for a blue tent setup on the grass!
Important! Please ensure you arrive on time as the introductory information on fishing techniques and ethics are important to your participation in the hands-on fishing portion. We reserve the right to deny entry to those arriving after the program has started.
