If you are 16 years or older, you will a require a basic freshwater fishing licence. Anglers can purchase an eight-day, one-day, or annual licence online, or in-person at select locations. Be sure to check the Freshwater Fishing Regulations for daily catch limits and other requirements.

Fishing, and spending time outdoors, can be an appropriate activity for healthy individuals to engage in during this pandemic. To keep the transmission of COVID-19 low, we ask anglers to continue practicing physical distancing and to abide by the guidelines and recommendations of the PHO. Please fish locally and do your part so we can continue to enjoy our local lakes and streams.
