Family Fishing Day: Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery

Date: June 18, 2022 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

In this 2.5 hour session you’ll learn the basics of freshwater fishing including: hatchery roles, fish identification, tackle, rod rigging, casting, and hands-on fishing.

• Luhr Jensen fishing rods provided
• For children ages 5 and older, with accompanying adults
• Programs are held 100% outdoors as our Visitor Centre remains closed due to COVID-19
• Registration required.
• Please self-assess before arriving onsite and do not attend the program if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19.
• Meet in the Visitor Centre parking lot. 
• Bring a picnic lunch

Important! Please ensure you arrive on time as you will be guided down as a group to the fishing ponds, gates will be locked after the program has started.
