Learn to Fish: Clearwater Trout Hatchery
Date: July 4, 2021 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
In this 2 hour session you’ll learn the basics of freshwater fishing including: hatchery roles, fish identification, tackle, rod rigging, casting, and hands-on fishing.
- For families and small groups of participants. Must pre-register.
- Due to COVID-19 we can only accommodate up to 10 participants maximum per booking, including both children and adults.
- Programs run rain or shine
- Parent participation and supervison required.
- Luhr Jensen fishing rods provided. But you are welcome to bring your own gear.
- Meet in the Clearwater Trout Hatchery Fishing Ponds parking lot. Clearwater Trout Hatchery and Visitor Centre remain closed to the public.
Important! Please ensure you arrive on time as the introductory information on fishing techniques and ethics are important to your participation in the hands-on fishing portion. We reserve the right to deny entry to those arriving after the program has started.
