Adults Learn to Fish: Edith Lake

In this 2.5 hour session you’ll learn the basics of freshwater fishing including: hatchery roles, fish identification, tackle, rod rigging, casting, and hands-on fishing.

  • Rapala fishing rods provided
  • Programs run rain or shine
  • Must pre-register!
  • A freshwater fishing licence is required (one day or annual) and must be purchased before attending the program. Click here to purchase a licence.
  • Meet at the Day Use Area (south end of the lake)

Important! Please ensure you arrive on time as the introductory information on fishing techniques and ethics are important to your participation in the hands-on fishing portion.  We reserve the right to deny entry to those arriving after the program has started.
