Honourable Mentions

Selecting only nine winners from the many excellent submissions received this year was a tough task! Listed below are some of the honourable mentions - entries that our judges loved but that didn't quite make the podium.

Jorden Murray. "You never forget your first bull ride! We spent a beautiful rainy Sunday in the Skagit Valley chasing these amazing creatures. High fives and good times!"

Chris Bowers. "The Duo. Lucas and Keegan. Long live the love to fish. Region 5."

Alex Colby. "Fishing with a good friend. Double header! Vancouver Island."

Brian Host. "A picture taken on an unreal 50 fish day in region 5. Happened to have the camera ready when this 4lb trout came shooting out of the water right in front of my boat! I promise it is not PhotoShopped!!"

Jason Poole. "Chris Bowers with the fish of the day during a hail storm in region 5."

Stefanie Schoenberger. "First fish on after getting married!"

If you didn't win this year, be sure to try again next year: you never know what submission could come out on top. Be sure to follow our Instagram page, as we’ll be featuring the shortlisted photos throughout the year.
