2020 Go Fish BC Photo Contest Winners

Thank you to all those who submitted photographs in the 2020 Go Fish BC Photo Contest. We had a great response, receiving over 350 entries. Once again, the calibre of submissions was fantastic, and the panel of judges had a tough time selecting the winning three images in each category.

Congratulations to the winners, who each receive a share of the $1,575 in cash prizes. You can view their winning shots below:

Category 1: Luck on the Lake – for photos of anglers in action on lakes in B.C.

2nd Place: Jeffrey Stewart. "Fishing the Shuswap - shot on Shuswap Lake."

Category 2: Rewards of the River – for photos of anglers and fishing featuring rivers in B.C.

Honourable Mentions

This year's contest proved to be our most popular to date; we recevied more entries this year than in any other year. The competition was fierce, and our judges faced a difficult task in selecting only nine prize-winners. Listed below are some of the honourable mentions - entries that our judges loved but that didn't quite make the podium.

Bob Ganske.

Michael Jokinen.

Jessica Labbe.

Arielle Friedrich.

Mohiuddin Ahmed.

If you didn't win this year, be sure to try again next year: you never know what submission could come out on top. Be sure to follow our Instagram page, as we’ll be featuring the shortlisted photos throughout the year.
