About these Lakes
Prince George (Hart Highlands). Drive north on Hwy 97 (Hart Highway) from Prince George and take the exit for Kelly Rd North. After approximately 1 km, turn left onto Ferguson Lake Rd and follow to the lake.
Facilities: Nature park with day-use picnic area, pit-toilets, car-top boat launch and a new fishing dock for 2008. Regulations: Regional regulations; no power boatsSpecies: Stocked rainbow trout & brook trout
North of Prince George. Drive north on Hwy 97 (Hart Highway) from Prince George and turn west (left) on Chief Lake Rd. After driving 12 km, turn right, following Chief Lake Rd to Eena Lake Rd. From Eena Lake Rd, turn left onto Woods Rd, right onto Qinn Rd and follow to the boat launch at the lake.

West of Prince George. From Prince George, drive west on Hwy 16 for 32 km. Approximately 2 km after passing the second Telechick Rd on your right, take the short road to the south (left) off the highway to the lake. If you reach Isle Pierre Rd on the right or Norman Lake Rd. on the left you have gone too far

Southwest of Vanderhoof. From Vanderhoof, drive south on Kenny Dam Rd for approximately 14 km. Pass through the Stoney Creek Reserve and continue another 3 - 4 km (still on Kenny Dam Rd) to the Saik’uz Park and Campground. Turn left into the campground.
Facilities: Full facilities- good boat launch, camping, cabins, potlatch house/ community hall. Regulations: Regional regulations. No fishing west of a line between signs on the lakeshore near the mouth of Corkscrew Creek from April 1 – May 31 to protect spawning trout.Species: Wild & stocked rainbow trout
Northwest of Fort St. James. Drive on Sowchea Rd along the south end of Stuart Lake, turn south (left) on Lind Lake Pitt Rd and follow to the lake.

North of Mackenzie. Drive approximately 5 km north of Mackenzie on Hwy 39 to the lake.

East of Prince George. Drive approximately 6 km east of Prince George on the Yellowhead Hwy (Hwy 16). Turn right (south) onto the Old Cariboo Highway. Drive 1 km, turn left on Giscome Rd, drive for 6.5 km and turn right onto Hedlund Rd. Follow Hedlund to the end where the Log House Restaurant and RV Park are located. The boat launch is by the restaurant. A second car-top boat launch is located at the end of Bateman Rd.

Northwest of Prince George. Drive north on Hwy 97 (Hart Highway) from Prince George and turn west (left) on Chief Lake Rd. Continue going straight when Chief Lake Road turns into Ness Lake Rd. Follow Ness Lake Rd past the intersection for Vivian Lake Rd, turn right (north) onto Exer Rd and drive to the lake.
Facilities: Recreation site with camping and boat launch; private resort with cabins, camping and boat rentals.Regulations: Regional regulations; engine power restriction – 7.5 Kw (10 Hp)Species: Stocked rainbow trout & brook trout.
East of Prince George. Drive approximately 65 km east of Prince George on the Yellowhead Hwy (Hwy 16) and follow signs for Purden Provincial Park.

Mackenzie. From Centennial Drive, follow signs east to Morfee Lake down Morfee lake Rd.

South of Hixon. From Hixon, drive south on Hwy 97 for approximately 9 km, turn west (right) onto Plett Rd, and then south (left) onto Quesnel-Hixon Rd. Drive for approximately 6.5 km before turning west (right) onto Chubb Lake Rd.

Between Vanderhoof and Prince George. From Hwy 16, turn north onto Finmore Rd near Cluculz Lake. Drive approximately 6 km, turn right (east) and follow road to the lake.

West of Prince George. From the Hwy 97/16 intersection, drive west on Hwy 16 for approximately 9 km. Turn left onto Blackwater Rd (West Lake Provincial Park turn off). Drive approximately 34 km on paved and gravel roads (pass through Baldy Hughes). Turn left on Mt MacKenzie Lookout FSR, drive approximately 2 km, and turn right, following the road along the cut block to lake.
