About these Lakes
North of Quesnel. Drive north from Quesnel on Hwy 97 for approximately 12 km to reach Ten Mile Lake Provincial Park.
Facilities: Provincial Park with boat launch, picnic tables, toilets, playground, swimming beaches, and campground. Northwest of Quesnel. From Quesnel, cross the Fraser River to West Quesnel, turn right on Elliot Street and then left onto North Fraser Drive which turns into Blackwater Rd. Follow Blackwater Rd to Nazko Rd and turn right (north) on Milburn Lake Rd.
Facilities: Day-use picnic area with boat launch and pit toilet. Regulations: Regional regulationsSpecies: Stocked rainbow trout & brook troutTip: Best fishing from a boat in the spring and fall.
South of Williams Lake. From Hwy 97, turn east onto the Likely-Horsefly Rd at 150 Mile House. Stay right on Horsefly Rd at the Likely Rd junction, approx 5 km from Hwy 97. Drive a further 2 km and turn right onto Dugan Lake Rd.
Facilities: Camping, day-use picnic areas, boat launch and toilet facilities with access for disabled persons.Regulations: Regional regulationsSpecies: Stocked rainbow trout & brook troutTip: Best fished from a boat. Good winter ice fishing.
East of Lac La Hache. From Hwy 97, turn east on Timothy Lake Rd (turnoff for Mt. Timothy ski area) and follow to the lake.
Facilities: Maintained recreation site with camping, pit toilets and boat launch. Regulations: Regional regulations; engine power restriction – 7.5 Kw (10 hp)Species: Stocked rainbow troutTip: Best fishing from a boat in the spring and fall.
North of 100 Mile House. From the north end of 100 Mile House, turn right off Hwy 97 onto Canim-Hendrix Lake Rd. Follow the road past Forest Grove and continue on to Ruth Lake Provincial Park.
Facilities: Provincial park with day-use picnic area, boat launch, pit-toilets, dock and swimming. Southeast of 100 Mile House. From Highway 97, turn east onto Highway 24 and proceed through Lone Butte. Continue driving east for approximately 2 km, cross the railway tracks, and turn right approximately 350 m past the tracks. Turnoff to the public access boat launch is on the right.

Southwest of Quesnel. From Quesnel, turn west off Hwy 97 and cross the Fraser River. Head south on Anderson Drive, which turns into West Fraser Rd. Follow either Garner or West Fraser Rd south. If driving on West Fraser Rd, turn west onto Webster Rd and turn south (left) at the junction of Garner Rd. Turn right at 3400 (Whelers) Rd and drive west for approximately 20 km to reach the lake.
Facilities: User maintained recreation site with camping, boat launch, and pit toilets; private resort.Regulations: Regional regulationsSpecies: Wild rainbow troutTip: Rainbow trout are small, but plentiful. Best fished from a boat.
Northeast of Lac La Hache. From Highway 97, just north of Lac La Hache, turn east onto Wright Station Rd, cross the railway tracks and turn left. After approximately 3km, turn right and follow road to the lake.

Southeast of 100 Mile House. From Hwy 24, turn north onto Fawn Lake Rd (west of Sheridan Lake) and follow the signs. Turn right at Fawn Lake Access Rd #1 and drive to the lake.

South of Williams Lake. From Williams Lake, drive south on the Chilcotin Hwy (#20) for approximately 2 km and exit onto Dog Creek Rd. Turn left at Chimney Lake Rd and follow to the lake. From Lac La Hache, drive north on the Cariboo Hwy (#97), turn west (left) at Enterprise Road, drive approximately 10 km and turn north (right) onto Chimney Lake Road and follow to the lake.
Facilities: 2 Recreational sites with fee camping, parking, pit toilets, and boat launch.Regulations: Regional regulationsSpecies: Stocked rainbow troutTip: Best fishing from a boat in the spring and fall.
In the Likely area. From 150 Mile House, turn east off of Hwy 97 onto the Horsefly/ Likely Rd. Drive approximately 5 km, turn left on Likely Rd and drive another 60 km to Moorehead Lake. Approximately 2.5 km past the resort, turn south onto Mount Polley Mine Rd and follow the gravel road 9 km to Bootjack Lake.
Facilities: Maintained recreation site with car-top boat launch, pit-toilets, picnic tables and camping.Regulations: Trout daily quota = 8Species: Wild rainbow troutTip: Fish are abundant and relatively easy to catch. Best fished from a boat.
