About these Lakes
South of Kamloops. Driving south from Kamloops on the Coquihalla Hwy (Hwy 5), take Exit #336 and head east, following signs for Lac le Jeune. Turn right (south) shortly after exiting the highway.
Facilities: Day use provincial park with boat launch, fishing pier, pit-toilets, and picnic tables. For more information on Walloper Lake Provincial Park visit www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks Regulations: Regional regulations; winter warning – dangerous thin ice due to aeration Species: Wild rainbow trout Tip: Fish from the dock or from a boat. Winter ice fishing opportunities.

Northeast of Kamloops. From Kamloops, drive north on Hwy 5 (Yellowhead Hwy), turn east (right) on Paul Lake Rd and follow signs to the provincial park.

Northeast of Kamloops. From Kamloops, drive north on Hwy 5 (Yellowhead Hwy), turn east (right) on Paul Lake Rd and follow signs for Paul Lake Provincial Park. Drive a few km past Paul Lake to reach Pinantan Lake. Drive past the store to access the public boat launch.
Facilities: Boat launch Regulations: Regional regulations; electric motors only Species: Stocked rainbow trout Tip: Best fished from a boat using silver or gold spoons or flatfish lures.
North of Kamloops. From Batchelor Heights area of Kamloops, follow Lac du Bois Rd through the grasslands, turning right at the McQueen Lake Forest Service Rd. Watch for signs directing you to the Isobel Lake Interpretive Trail.
Facilities: Recreation site with boat launch, pit-toilets and limited camping. Interpretive trail surrounds the lake. Regulations: Age restricted; rainbow trout daily quota = 2 Species: Catchable rainbow trout Tip: Some pier and shore fishing, but best fished from a boat.
South of Kamloops. Drive south on Hwy 5A from Kamloops for approximately 35 km, turn right on Roche Lake Rd and follow to Roche Lake Provincial Park. Rose and Tulip are the small lakes on the right side of the road before you reach Roche Lake.
Facilities: None at the lakes. Camping facilities at Roche and Horseshoe Lakes within the park. For more information on Roche Lake Provincial Park visit www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks
