Kootenay Children's Fishing Pond and Nature Trail 

The Kootenay Children’s Fishing Pond and Nature Trail project has been completed at the Kootenay Trout Hatchery near Fort Steele.

The project has received tremendous community support – generous financial contributions have been received from BC Hydro, Columbia Basin Trust, Regional District of East Kootenay, Sunrise Rotary Club (Cranbrook), Arrow Installations, family of Sec and Millie Semezin and St. Mary’s Flyfishers.

In kind support has been received from Johnston Construction (general contractors and engineering) Kaizen Developments (landscape design) and Kevin Franck and Associates (mapping).
