Learn to Fish Program

Since 2006, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, BC Conservation Corps and ActNow BC, the FFSBC began a Learn to Fish Program for youth and their families.

Learn to Fish instructors will be giving basic angling skills to youth (under 16 years) that have no or little angling experience.

The sessions will include fish identification, fishing gear, safety and regulations, casting and retreiving, knot tying and environmental awareness.
