A story by Keith Johnston, Fishing Buddies Contest 2010 winner
From September 24th to the 27th, my wife Edith and I traveled over 1,000 KMs to Logan Lake, Tunkwa Lake Resort, Tunkwa Provincial Park and Leighton Lake.
The weather on the weekend was in the mid 70s and the resort and parks we visited were extremely clean and picturesque. The weather at Tunkwa Lake was very windy with just a few boats on the water, and a few people fishing.
This was a wonderful trip in beautiful B.C.!
When you're trolling with plugs, spinners, spoons or flies, drop your rod tip back once in a while rather than maintaining a steady pull. Dropping back causes the lure to tumble momentarily, triggering strikes from any fish that may be following.
