native and domestic rainbow trout, anadromous and coastal cutthroat trout and steelhead trout.

About the Hatchery

The Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery (FVTH) opened in the fall of 1977. The FVTH stocks approximately 150 lakes and streams a year, covering most regions in BC. The hatchery is home to the Fraser Valley domesticated rainbow trout program, and maintains a captive broodstock of these fish .

Visitors Welcome

The Visitor Centre offers interactive displays and computer games. Journey through a living stream featuring many species of freshwater fish. Learn about conservation and management of freshwater fish and their habitat. The Visitor Centre is open to the public and classrooms offering several programs as well as tours.
