About the Summerland Trout Hatchery Visitor Centre

Guided tours include viewing live fish in the aquarium, the trough room, and the outdoor ponds.  There are videos and a children’s craft station.  The Visitor Centre is full of information on Rainbow Trout, and where and how to catch them!  It’s fun and interactive for all ages!  Please phone or e-mail to book a tour for your family, school, daycare, youth groups, or day camps.

Location Details

The Summerland Trout Hatchery Visitor Centre is located within the Summerland Trout Hatchery approximately 15 minutes north of Penticton in Summerland.  From Penticton drive North on Highway 97 (Okanagan) for approximately 11 kilometres.  Turn right onto Lakeshore Drive South and follow it for approximately 1 kilometre.  The hatchery will be on the right-hand side next to the Summerland Yacht Club.
